Take a Leading Role in Juvenile Justice Training
Become a JJTA Board Member

 
We are looking for a few exceptional professionals to work with us to enhance the field of staff development and training in juvenile justice. Joining our Board of Directors is a unique opportunity to network with colleagues, to gain access to valuable resources, improve your own skills, and to work with organizations, facilities, and systems around the country. Nominate yourself for a two year term on the Board of Directors using the form attached. Deadline for submission is July 15, 2008.

As a Board member you join in our quarterly phone conference meetings and attend bi-annual meetings that are part of a spring and fall professional conference.

Founded 25 years ago, our purpose is to:

  • Provide opportunities for the professional growth and development of juvenile justice trainers
  • Advocate for standards which will enhance the quality of juvenile justice training
  • Promote coalitions and linkages between organizations that address the needs of youth at risk
  • Serve as a resource for the exchange of juvenile justice training programs, materials and personnel
