“Serving
as a board member ensures that one takes ownership
in being a part of the solution. It has provided me
a way to play a part in establishing best practices.
As a practitioner in the field and as Director of

opportunity for professional development, resource
enhancement, and a further affirmation of the influence
of training in making a difference for youth through
practice and people.”
